Marc-Andre Lebel
President & CEO
Marc Lebel is the founding Chief Executive Officer of FRX Innovations, FRX Polymers and FRX Consulting Co. He brings 25 years of product and business development, operations, and sales and marketing experience to the company. Previously, he held senior executive positions at Triton Systems and Aspen Aerogels as Executive VP and VP of Sales and Marketing respectively.
He was the Global Business Group Director for Cabot Corp. and was the founding CEO of DSM Thermoplastic Elastomers, a company he grew for the $8B Dutch parent company, DSM. Mr. Lebel holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, is a registered professional engineer in Ontario and Alberta and has completed company sponsored executive management programs at Harvard Business School and the International Management Development Institute.

Mark Lotz
Chief Financial Officer
Mark Lotz joined FRX Polymers in 2021. Mr. Lotz was the CEO of Gateway Securities and CFO Golden Capital in Vancouver. He has extensive public markets experience with public issuers including Fobi AI Inc., Global Crossing Airlines, TrackX Holdings, Candente Copper Corp. Prophecy Coal. Previously, Mark was a Financial and Sales Examiner with the Vancouver Stock Exchange and brings with him 25 years of public practice experience tax and expert witness in complex securities transactions.

Dr. Mike Goode
Chief Commercial Officer
Mike is responsible for Sales, Marketing, Application Development, and Research activities. He has been involved in phosphorus-based flame retardants and fire-resistant chemicals for more than 25 years. Most recently, Goode was vice president of sales and marketing for ICL Industrial Products’ bromine and phosphorus-based flame retardants businesses in the Americas for 13 years. Previously, he worked at Chemtura in several commercial and technical roles including vice president of research, development, and technology, and vice president of marketing for Polymer Additives. Goode earned his undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees from Oxford University, U.K., and began his career at ICI working in textile dyes as well as additives for plastics and coatings.

Dr. Ulrich Girrbach
Vice President, Fiber & Textiles
Dr. Ulrich Girrbach served as Director and Vice President and Global Head of Marketing and Sales for Hoechst/Trevira. He developed and implemented a global marketing strategy for flame retardant fibers and intermediate yarns, leading to strong growth in the U.S. (greater than 70% over two years). As Global Marketing Manager for Trevira CS, Dr. Girrbach introduced comprehensive market segmentation for different end users which led to strong sales growth. He also served as a SVP Global Marketing at ASK Chemicals Group as well as Chariman of the Board of Directors at ASK Chemicals Iberica. Dr. Girrbach earned a PhD in natural sciences from the University of Mainz and a Dipl. Ing., Master in Engineering from the University Karlsruhe.

Dr. Xiudong Sun
Vice President, Research & Applications
Dr. Xiudong Sun brings 20+ years of industrial R&D expertise in polymer science and technology with a strong interest in product and application development for first-to-the-world new materials. She has published 15+ scientific articles and is (co-)inventor of 20+ patents. Previously, she worked for GE Plastics (now SABIC), W. R. Grace and Metabolix (now Yield10 Bioscience) . Dr. Sun has a MSc in Polymer Science from Tsinghua University in China and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
