2021

  • FRX products becoming certified for use in soldier uniforms by the US Army

  • Approved for use in a high-performance wire harness application for electric vehicles and additional approval processes underway for the use of Nofia® in three other high volume electric vehicles related applications

2019

  • FRX and China’s Yoo-Point announced a jointly developed water based emulsion containing Nofia ® non-hologenated flame retardants. Under the joint development agreement, Yoo-Point will be responsible for distributing the water-based emulsion in China while FRX will be responsible for distributing the emulsions outside of China.

  • FRX established a strategic partnership with Italmatch Chemicals Group

  • FRX announced the availability of its Nofia® non-halogenated polyphosphonates for use in UL 94 V-0 high temperature polyurethane flexible foams for the transportation and electronics industries

  • FRX announced the availability of its Nofia® phosphonates for use in the production of low volatile organic compound (“VOC”) PUR foam for automotive interior applications.

  • FRX Polymers founded (from Triton Systems, Inc.) and incorporated following five years of intensive research and development in the field of flame retardant polymers

2022

  • Nofia® Homopolymers and Copolymers, have been added to the TCO Certified Accepted Substance List. TCO is the most recognized and world-leading sustainability certification for additives in the electronics and information technology industries.  Only flame retardants on the widely used TCO Certified Accepted Substance List may be used for TCO Certified Products. 

  • Nofia® CO3000, CO4000 and Nofia CO6000 have been granted a GreenScreen Benchmark™ 3 score, one of the industry’s highest green non-toxic indicators of ESG compliance. GreenScreen is one of the most broadly recognized methods of comparative benchmarking chemical toxicity in the chemical industry.
